150+ FPS on League maxed, Apex legends High I believe not sure on FPS but no stutter, Monster Hunter (Med or High, I can't recall) no idea on FPS for that but I turned Freesync on! Yeah this non tech person who built, upgraded and overclocked their PC also flicked the switch on their Freesync to work with their GTX card too, say whaaa!? lol.I use this set up every other day, she works! I know my set up as I am sure the people posting do theirs, how much more is needed? Games don't just crash when I pick 3440x1440. Went from a Pixel Xl upgraded to Pixel 3 XL, if something works tossing it aside to fill a landfill to gain very little gains is pretty much killing us all, tossing my i5 aside to get 15% more FPS? Meh. Your source isn't as popular as my source therefore it must be invalid! I don't rush out each year to get new tech and throw my old stuff out. I'm not even going to argue with non tech people. I source one of the largest and most respected youtubers who specializes in PC's. Many people play 3440x1440 games on their i5-2600k (over 400 Steam games and HTC Vive with 30ish games) so why would I waste money on upgrading when it works just fine? Shit boots up in 15 seconds and I can play everything I just fine, Apex Legends maxed at 3440x1440. I spent $1,500 (ish) on my PC 7ish years ago, Upgraded to SSD, swapped GTC 560Ti for 1070 and added new ram for 16gb. The GPU takes most of the load for gaming, hence the GTX1070. I mean making up a story of having an old PC that runs everything I play at 3440x1440p (LG 34" Ultrawide 60hz IPS) for fake internet points is me!

I have a macbook Pro touch bar which costs $3,500 before tax, I'm waiting for people to tell me that their Macbook pro 2010 is still running well. Stop drinking your coffee for a day and you will have a new computer. The average wage in Canada is around $55,000 a year, you can't afford a new CPU/MOBO for $400 which lasts at least 5 years? I assume most of you are on your computer more than a few hours a day. but there's a point where you're just cheap. New CPU's like this i5-9400f, are sub $200. This article was from 2 years ago for a 2500K. I play games at 3440x1440, use my HTC Vive, FL Studio, tunes.etc and have no issues at all!
